Chapter 104 

A shocking event caused a glow to envelop the pair under the full moon. Looking up, they realized the moon was indeed full. 

Alpha Nick’s eyes brimmed with tears as he embraced Sheridan. His wolf, soul, heart, and body were all in harmony and at 

peace. 

“I’m so sorry. If I had known my second chance mate was within reach, I would have rejected her sooner.” 

Alpha Nick felt that all the time spent seeking revenge was wasted now that he had Sheridan in his arms. 

He had missed over a year of seeing her pregnancy progress and giving birth to their child. 

Sheridan couldn’t hold back her tears, her heart heavy with regret. Alpha Nick had promised to reject Charlotte if she returned, but she had been too scared and chose to run away instead. 

“It was all my fault. I shouldn’t have left. We would have known sooner, but that’s why I could never hate you, no matter how hard I tried,” she said with a tearful smile, causing Alpha Nick’s heart to dance with joy. 

How was it possible for them to fall in love without the mate bond? It seemed to be one of those rare circumstances where a werewolf had two mates. 

If Alpha Nick had met Sheridan first when she turned eighteen, he wouldn’t have felt the bond for Charlotte. 

He had met Charlotte first and couldn’t feel the bond towards Sheridan. Looking up, Sheridan realized that she was in love with someone else’s mate. Alpha Nick was also her destined mate., 

He was simply favored to bond with whichever of the two mates he encountered first at the age 

of eighteen. 

“It’s the full moon, Sherry. I’m glad it’s you, and even though I don’t deserve you, I’m so happy,” Alpha Nick said, gazing at the full moon with 

everyone present. It was a magical moment, and Sheridan’s brothers texted their parents the good news. 

Tacar response was immediate. “Are you serious? You guys aren’t sleeping yet? Can I 

speak 

“No, tomorrow,” Arnold texted back before switching off his phone. Alpha Nick and Sheridan were still lost in the magical 

moment. 

“I’m glad you didn’t give up on me,” Sheridan said, causing Alpha Nick to stare at her, wondering if she truly understood 

what he meant. 

“I never considered giving up on you. I never have and never will. You’re worth the chase, and I’d do it all over again. I’d go crazy, all for you.” 

Under the moonlight, their lips met in a passionate kiss, tears of joy flowing as onlookers wiped their eyes, 

Tom, who had started to heal during the pause in events with the pack members‘ attention on Alpha Nick and Sheridan, was filled with regret. 

If only he had waited for his mate, his life/would have been better, and he wouldn’t have lost everything. 

In hindsight, it was clear that Alpha Nick was the one who had destroyed his business. The timing of the business’s destruction coincided with how long Alpha Nick had known about him and Charlotte. 

Charlotte felt the pain of losing everything more deeply than the breaking of the bond. She couldn’t understand how she had lost everything so quickly.

Chapter 104 

Once upon a time, she had two men vying for her affection. One was her mate, and the other was her lover. 

It was particularly painful that the woman who took everything from her was the same one she always lost to. Why did it have to be Sheila of all people? However, her greed prevented her from getting marked, leading her to mate with an unknown man under the influence of an aphrodisiac drug right after mating with Tom. 

If all this had happened before meeting her destined mate, it wouldn’t have mattered, but it all occurred afterward. That’s why Charlotte found herself in such a messy situation. 

Her wolf retreated, and when she shifted again, it was no longer the innocent white wolf but a malevolent black one. 

Tears couldn’t wash away the pain of losing everything. Left with no choice, she allowed her wolf to take over, seeing it as the only way to save herself from being stoned to death. 

Unbeknownst to everyone, Charlotte had healed from the physical torment during the short take
