He was just about to speak when his phone suddenly rang. He looked at the screen. It was Loraine. Calling at this hour, something important must be up, right?
"Zac, got something to deal with, gotta run. Enjoy your meal." Derek said.
Derek answered the call while briskly walking downstairs, worried he might miss something. All Hannah saw was a retreating figure. Tall and strong, but where had she seen him before?
Brittany didn't question when Derek left. She and Derek didn't exactly get along anyway. They simply put up with each other for Isaac's sake.
"I've got some fruit here." Isaac walked into the kitchen carrying a bag, followed closely by Brittany.
"Hannah, close the door." Isaac said.
"Sure." Hannah replied, "I've already tidied up the dining table. Ready to eat?"
"We're almost ready." Brittany said.
Hannah opened the fridge, took out the wine she brought, and poured it into a decanter, "How about some wine for the night?"
"Sounds good." Brittany was about to say something, but Isaac pulled her close by her waist. With a low voice, he nibbled her earlobe, "Didn't we agree this was our private time? Why is Hannah here?"
Brittany blushed, "She'll leave after dinner. We haven't seen each other in a while."
They had been so busy recently they hardly spent any time together. She missed him, honestly.
Isaac didn't mind Hannah's presence. He could tell Brittany had been down lately. Having Hannah around to talk to was a good thing.
"Make it up to me tonight, okay?" Isaac asked.
He was a smart businessman. And a businessman never passed up an opportunity to profit.
Brittany's ears reddened, but she didn't refuse. She loved their intimate moments, even if she might feel uncomfortable the next morning.
She blushed and nodded, then whispered something in his ear. Isaac didn't expect her to be so bold. He turned her face towards him, kissed her lips, and deepened the kiss. After a while, he let go, "We'll do what you say."
