As for Isaac, Brittany didn't even give him a glance. She couldn't be bothered with someone of his dubious character. Isaac noticed her coldness, and it brought back memories. He chuckled softly under his breath.
Brittany was puzzled. What was so funny? What was there to laugh about? He screwed up and expected people not to look down on him?
Mr. Edgar’s gaze swept over Brittany, and he studied her for a while, "You look much better now, how's life been treating you?"
"I've set up my own studio, and everything's going great." Brittany said.
Brittany had met Mr. Edgar by chance, initially she turned down his offer. On one hand, she felt inadequate. On the other hand, she didn't want the Dustin family to exploit this as a marketing tool.
"Have you given any thought to what I proposed before?" Mr. Edgar had come specifically to see Brittany.
"What are you referring to?" Gloria asked, her question echoing the curiosity of everyone present.
Mr. Edgar chuckled softly, "Of course, I meant my proposal to have Ms. Dustin as my student."
Gloria's expression changed instantly.
Mr. Edgar was notoriously picky. Many people yearned to be his student, but since an incident 10 years ago, he hadn't taken anyone under his wing. Now, he was offering Brittany the opportunity to be his student?
Gloria had heard of Brittany before, but only in relation to some negative reports, after which she had lost interest.
Brittany lowered her head, after a while she replied, "Sir, my knowledge and skills are limited. I fear I might tarnish your reputation if I become your student."
"Brittany, Mr. Edgar wants you as his student, and you dare to refuse?" Robert suddenly appeared, he pointed at Brittany and shouted, "You should count your lucky stars that Mr. Edgar is interested in you and yet you have the audacity to refuse?"
Everyone was taken aback. Mr. Edgar offered someone the chance to be his student, and she turned him down!
Brittany didn't expect Robert to show up here, must be Loraine's doing.
Mr. Edgar, aware of the past rumors, wasn't fond of Robert. He was overly dependent on others, abandoned his own wife and child, and yet had the nerve to show up here.
Isaac frowned, a flicker of disgust in his eyes.
