Brittany never saw it coming, that she'd be thrown under the bus like this!
Having been played a few times before, she was wised up now. So, she clung tightly to Susan's hand, "Rather than playing the blame game or passing the buck, we should be more concerned about Ms. Field's health."
Turned out, Loraine was allergic to silver. This issue was never brought up during their interactions.
She must have prepared this.
Fortunately, there was a full video recording that would prove Brittany's innocence.
Susan's disdain for Brittany had reached its peak. She raised her other hand, aiming straight at her.
"Bri, watch out!" Instinctively, Hannah wanted to protect Brittany.
But someone else was faster. Isaac grabbed Susan's arm, his eyes darkening slightly, fingers tightening.
Susan's face twisted in pain, her whole body trembling. Isaac brushed her aside, pulling Brittany behind him, staring coldly at Susan, "If you have a problem, call the police. Why resort to violence?"
Isaac stood there, his tall figure exuding an impressive aura.
She hadn't expected him to protect her. After all, she had kicked him as hard as she could last time!
Hannah heaved a sigh of relief, rushed to Brittany's side, grabbing her hand, "Are you okay?"
Brittany shook her head, looking at Isaac. Something about the golden mask he wore felt off, as if she was familiar with those eyes.
"Ms. Chester, it's getting crowded here. Please take Ms. Dustin away." Isaac instructed Hannah. Knowing that he was about to take action, Hannah immediately dragged Brittany away.
"Bri, let's go." Hannah said.
"But..." Brittany hesitated. With Loraine collapsing, the Field family immediately dumped the blame on her. If she left now, things might get messy. After all, Loraine had been spreading rumors about Brittany having a special relationship with Mr. Salter.
Hannah whispered a few words into Brittany's ear. Brittany thanked Isaac and then turned to leave.
The guests were panicked but remained silent.
