The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 279

The maid gave a hint, and it was time for Zella to entertain the guests.

"Well, I'm heading down first. You guys feel free to wander around."

Zella picked up her skirt and left the lounge. Hannah had worked overtime last night and was now very tired, so she lay on the sofa, "Bri, wake me up when the event starts."

"Okay, I gotta hit the bathroom real quick."

Brittany closed the door to the lounge and headed to the restroom at the end of the second floor.

No sooner had she stepped in than she heard voices outside the door.

"Did you guys notice Mr. Salter seems to be absent."

"At an event like this, Mr. Salter definitely won't show up. Leda once interfered with someone else's family, leading to his mother's depression. How could Mr. Salter attend an illegitimate child's engagement party?"

"Speaking of which, Mr. Salter is quite pitiful. His mother died when he was only seven, and he had a newborn brother..."

"Keep it down. In case Leda hears it, we can't afford her tricks."

Hearing these words, Brittany felt a pang in her heart, as if the person being discussed was not the high and mighty Mr. Salter but the man she cared about.

Once the crowd had dispersed, Brittany washed her hands and left the restroom.

Walking down the corridor, planning to return to the lounge, she caught a glimpse of a black car parked outside the yard.

The car door opened.

A tall man got out of the car, his face hidden behind a golden mask. Only a pair of eyes seemed to be flashing with a storm, almost completely drawing all attention!

Isaac's appearance attracted the attention of countless people, and many guests began to whisper.

As if in another world, he walked into the villa, crossed the bustling banquet scene, and went upstairs.

Brittany stood at the corner of the second floor, watching the man ascend.

Nathan saw Brittany and instinctively wanted to greet her, but remembering that she didn't know Isaac's identity, he swallowed his words.

Isaac walked past Brittany, heading upstairs.

Brittany caught a whiff of a familiar scent, but before she could ponder, the door of the lounge opened.

"Bri, we should head down."

Hannah woke up, and Brittany immediately responded, "All right."
