"Alright, if you like it, just get it."
Grace got the news early and rushed over from Salter Manor. She was deeply saddened to see that Brittany was much thinner.
She had her personal servant cook some nourishing soup, intending to boost Brittany's health.
While Brittany was hospitalized, Isaac was almost always at the hospital with her, leaving a lot of office work to accumulate.
After cleaning himself up, he went downstairs, now dressed in a royal blue suit.
"Granny, please take care of Bri while I'm at work."
Grace, sitting on the balcony soaking in the sun with Brittany, reassured him, "Don't worry, I'll take good care of Bri."
Isaac walked over to Brittany and kissed her on the face, "Rest well."
Brittany's face turned red, and feeling somewhat embarrassed with Grace present, she gently pushed his chest, "Go away."
Isaac chuckled softly and then left.
Grace felt a warmth in her heart as she watched them. Nothing was more important than her children's happiness.
"Granny, the renovation of the new house is finished. When we move in, will you come live with us?"
She had been thinking about this for a long time.
Grace was getting old. Brittany was worried about her living alone in Salter Manor.
While others might not want to live with their parents, Brittany didn't mind. Grace had been too good to her, and she couldn't resist the gentleness she offered.
"No need; you young people should enjoy your own lives."
Grace didn't want to intrude on their world. "I'm old; I just want to stay at home. I’ll just come visit me more often."
Brittany smiled, "Alright, we'll have a room ready for you. Feel free to come whenever you want."
The house was big enough, with extra rooms prepared just for Grace.
"Okay!"
