The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 326

Shona caught their move, her eyes sparkling with curiosity, "Ms. Dustin, you feeling off?"

Her pregnancy news hasn't been made public yet.

She was planning to make up some excuse to gloss over it, but Isaac beat her to it.

"If you're not feeling well, why not take a rest upstairs?"

He noticed Brittany's gaze and suddenly realized he was Mr. Salter now, not just Isaac.

Shona was a smart woman. She probably guessed something, "Alright."

Brittany was indeed feeling under the weather, so she called Hannah along and they went to the upstairs lounge. Hannah fetched some lemonade for Brittany, "Here, drink this."

Brittany was touched, but mostly she just felt a bitter pang.

She took a sip of the lemonade, "I overheard some rumors about Mr. Salter in the washroom earlier—"

Brittany frowned, "I used to think Mr. Salter was quite decent, who knew he's got such a complex personal life!"

Hannah’s eyes widened.

Mr. Salter got a complex personal life?

Brittany didn't want to gossip about Mr. Salter behind his back, she just shook her head, "You're working at Grandeur Capital, be careful not to get caught in someone's crosshairs!"

He's married already, and apparently, he's got side chicks too!

That’s not okay.

Brittany was feeling physically drained, she leaned back on the couch, and before long, she was nodding off.

Once she dozed off, a maid brought a blanket over.

After Brittany went upstairs, Shona stopped Isaac, her eyes deep and brooding. "Mr. Salter, can we talk?"

"Just a moment."

"Sure."

Shona led Isaac to the third floor, opened the door to the study.

"Ms. Bennett, is there anything I can help with?"

Shona gestured for Isaac to sit down, poured him a glass of water, "I was wondering how you've been considering my previous proposal?"

She was still hoping to get engaged to Isaac.

Isaac sat down, "Ms. Bennett, I'm already married."

That was a flat-out rejection.
