Brittany's lips trembling, "I'm sorry, I..."
Isaac noticed her teary eyes, took a deep breath, and realized they shouldn't be fighting. After a moment of silence, he said softly, "It's late, you should head back to your room and rest."
"But..."
"I don't want to fight, we need to chill." Isaac cut her off.
Brittany's eyes welled up again, she felt wronged. She didn't mean to drink, and her interaction with William was normal, why was he so pissed?
Biting her lip, holding back her feelings, she hugged Isaac around the waist, "I'm sorry, Zakky, I didn't intentionally hide it from you, I just didn't want you to overthink."
Isaac was still mad, "You still don't get it, if it was just about the news, I wouldn't be arguing with you."
He hated the fact that Brittany was interacting with William.
Because he knew what William was after, he was obviously infatuated with Brittany, hence constantly appearing around her.
What pissed him off more was that Brittany, knowing she was pregnant, dared to drink.
He pushed her away, "Go back to your room, go to sleep."
Brittany didn't know how to react, they rarely fought, "Zakky--"
"Just listen to me."
Isaac tried to stay calm.
Brittany knew she was wrong, and slowly returned to her room.
After she left, Isaac walked into the bathroom, but instead of taking a shower, he dialed William's number, "Have you seen the news?"
"Zac, I'm sorry, I just happened to pass by--" William started to explain.
"William, we're friends, I don't want things to get awkward." Isaac's voice was cold, "we both know your feelings for Bri, but she's my wife now, you can't cross the line."
William wasn't one to back down, "I didn't do anything, I just helped her block a drink."
He paused, "As for the photo, I just saw a petal--"
"It's not about what, it's about you crossing the line." Isaac cut him off, "William, you and I both know, you crossed the line this time."
William's explanation stopped abruptly, he did cross the line.
The action of helping Brittany remove the petal was a line crossed, his heart had crossed the line too.
"I'm sorry, Zac, I'll try to minimize my contact with Bri... with Brittany."
