Brittany had a hunch that Isaac was hiding something from her. She paused for a second before wrapping him tightly in her arms.
The end of the year was on the horizon.
Isaac was swamped with work, and for several days straight, he only got home around midnight.
Brittany was also up to her eyeballs in work, juggling tasks for both the studio and the Dustin Group.
After wrapping up all her work, she was ready to take off.
"Hey, I saw you guys are hiring?"
A male voice suddenly popped up.
Brittany instinctively turned her head and found it was the young man she had bumped into on the highway. "What are you doing here?"
Noel was holding a job ad and his resume, looking at Brittany with surprise. His beautiful eyes lit up instantly, "I'm here for a job interview. Do you work here too?"
"Yes."
Brittany extended her hand, "Can I take a look at your resume?"
Noel handed it over right away with an eager beaver look on his face. "Can I call you Miss Beautiful? What's your name? Are you married? Why were you driving alone last time? Is there anything bothering you?"
Bombarded with a flurry of questions, Brittany didn't know where to start.
She opened his resume and found it quite impressive - he was a graduate of a prestigious university and was only 20 years old.
"Why are you applying here with your background?"
He was handsome and had a high education. Why would he come to their small studio?
Noel seemed a bit ticked off when this was brought up. His brother was driving him up the wall. None of the big companies would even take his resume. He had no choice but to apply for a job at this small studio.
And unexpectedly, he ran into Brittany!
"Miss Beautiful, I've pissed off some people, and now even getting a meal is a struggle. Are you in charge of HR? Please hire me. I can do anything!"
Noel was all over the place, singing his own praises, "I can do high-level tasks, as well as grunt work!"
Brittany felt a pang of sympathy for him.
So he had made some enemies. No wonder he ended up at their studio.
