The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 360

Isaac looked at Derek coldly, his eyes deep and mysterious.

Feeling the hostility, Derek quickly wiped the smile off his face. "Sorry, I was just saying you're overdressed."

Brittany wasn't pleased. She gave Isaac a gentle pinch. "This is all your fault!"

Because he forced her to bundle up.

Isaac gently held her hand and smiled, "Yeah, guess it's on me."

He opened the back seat door for Brittany to climb in, then loaded their luggage inside the car before hopping in himself.

Derek took the wheel and drove straight to the airport.

With the heat on in the car, Brittany was feeling a little toasty. She tried to take off her coat, but Isaac stopped her, "The temperature difference is too big. You could catch a cold."

Unable to bear it, she unbuttoned her coat and asked, "Is this okay?"

Knowing Brittany would be uncomfortable with too much fussing, Isaac went along with her wishes while they discussed some things she needed to pay attention to recently.

He'll be out of town this week and made an appointment for her prenatal checkup.

"Do you want Grandma to accompany you to the checkup, or should we ask Hannah?"

"I'll ask Hannah."

Brittany didn't want to bother her grandmother. She had just returned from the Salter Manor and was heading out again. The back and forth was too much of a hassle for her.

"Okay."

Upon reaching the airport, Isaac didn't let Brittany get out of the car. He got out with the luggage. Before leaving, he planted a deep kiss on her in front of Derek.

Derek rolled his eyes wordlessly.

Was this really necessary? It was just a week-long business trip, not a long separation!

After Isaac left, Brittany leaned against the car window, watching for a long time.

Derek couldn't stand the atmosphere.

He closed the car window, "All right, all right, stop watching. He's not gone forever."

He didn't get it. Isaac was always aloof and indifferent to women. Why is he so clingy now?
