The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 383

When Carla Salter got home, she did some digging on Brittany Dustin, and sure enough, it was as Sydney Ramsey had said.

She was hitched but still kept in touch with William Dillion!

What a shameless chick!

So, she's a jewelry designer now?

Carla located Brittany's studio and placed an order that very night, insisting Brittany herself do the design.

The next morning, Carla strutted into the studio.

As expected, Brittany greeted her in person, "Ms. Salter, have a seat."

Carla tossed her bag onto Brittany's desk, her gaze firm, "Ms. Dustin, I'll make this simple. If I'm not satisfied, I ain't paying."

"Ms. Salter, shoot."

Brittany was all professional, but for some reason, she sensed hostility from Carla's words!

...

Isaac Salter dropped Brittany at the studio and then headed back to Grandeur Capital.

At the parking lot, he noticed Brittany's coat was still in the car. She must have forgotten it in her rush to get off.

He got in the car and sent Brittany a message,

[Your coat's with me. I'll bring it over. Don't leave the office until I get there.]

Brittany received the message, saw his reminder, and cracked a smile.

Carla caught sight of her smiling and felt a twinge of irritation, "Ms. Dustin, are we here to chat with clients or check our phones?"

Carla's tone was clearly disgruntled.

Brittany realized she was out of line, "I'm sorry, Ms. Salter."

"Ms. Salter, I've noted your requirements. Anything else?"

Carla murmured, "We're done with business. Let's talk personal."

"What?"

What on earth do they have to talk about? Did they know each other before?
