The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 405

The Moon Inn is smack dab in the heart of the city, and the view from up here is killer. You can see the whole city blanketed in snow.

Isaac sidled up to her from behind, his arms snaking around her waist, giving it the occasional rubdown.

After a while, a black ride cruised up.

The car stopped, and the door swung open.

Out stepped a man in a slick black suit, and trailing behind him was a lady all dolled up. Too far to see her face clearly.

But she gave off a chilly vibe.

Seeing her lightly dressed, Randell's eyes filled with concern. "Didn't I tell ya it's cold out? You should bundle up more."

The woman chuckled, "Randell, I'm here to help you out. Don't you think you should play the gentleman and offer me your coat?"

Randell was left speechless.

"I know you're a neat freak. Let's get going."

The woman gave a resigned smile. Who else would brave the cold if they didn't go way back?

She gracefully straightened up and walked behind Randell. "We've known each other for ages, and you've never mentioned who we're meeting for dinner. Is it someone you're into?"

With each solid step he took, Randell's character was revealed.

"Nope."

"Then who?"

As they entered the Moon Inn, Randell asked for Brittany's room and led the woman toward it. Just as he was about to open the door, he paused.

"She's a good friend of mine."

"Hold your tongue for a bit."

The woman responded with a knowing nod. "Gotcha."

As the server pushed open the door, Randell shed his icy demeanor and put on his usual warmth.

"Bri."

The door creaked open.
