Isaac Salter swung open the door and stepped inside, catching Brittany's eye. She got up to meet him.

In a casual manner, he took her hand, helped her into her coat, and wrapped her scarf around her before saying his goodbyes to Randell Moore and leaving.

"Christmas is just around the corner, so how about we head back to the old house in a few days?"
