Nathan immediately got his drift. "Yes," he said.
Isaac spent the whole morning at Grandeur Capital. At noon, he dropped by Bri-jeweled Studio. Ignoring Kari Malone's surprised look, he pushed open Brittany's office door.
"What are you doing here?" she asked.
Brittany was about to have lunch, but instead of the expected meal, Isaac showed up.
Isaac held a thermos box and said, "I had Moon Inn prepare lunch for you. I'll be doing this every day.”
He closed the door behind him, then opened the thermos.
A hearty lunch filled her office desk. Brittany was motionless, even considering leaving.
Isaac moved a chair, signaling her to sit down, "Even if you don't eat, the baby needs to."
Brittany choked up.
Moon Inn's cooking was as good as ever. Brittany had been busy all morning, and then her stomach was growling. The smell made her mouth water.
She couldn't move, nor could she let go of the cutlery.
As she sat down, Isaac poured her a glass of lemon water, "I've spoken to the chef, all the dishes are specifically tailored for you. Try and see if you like them."
The meal was delivered right to her door; it would be wasted if not eaten.
Brittany sipped the lemon water, then started eating.
Seeing her start to eat, Isaac breathed a sigh of relief, then started peeling shrimp for her.
His hands were efficient. He peeled the shrimp quickly, as if he were doing something delightful.
He put the peeled shrimp on a plate, piled it into a small mound, and then served it in front of Brittany.
Brittany didn’t hesitate, she started eating heartily.
After she had eaten her fill, she wiped her mouth and left for the resting room without saying a word.
Isaac cleared the table, quickly ate some leftover food, had his secretary tidy up the desk, and then followed her to the resting room.
Brittany had changed into a maternity dress. Seeing him arrive, she frowned and asked, "You're going to nap here too?"
