The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 457

The moment the lounge door was flung open, a flurry of camera lenses zeroed in on Brittany and William.

The sound of shutter clicks and scrambling feet filled the air.

Brittany instinctively tried to slam the door shut, but the reporters caught her off guard and barged into the lounge.

She was shoved aside, slamming into the wall. She instinctively clutched her belly, wincing from the pain.

"Brittany!"

William tried to rush to her side but ended up taking a tumble.

Every reporter's gaze was drawn to his empty pant leg. Seeing his state, Brittany scrambled up and quickly moved to his side, yanking down the blanket to cover his leg.

The reporters jostled to get their shots. Brittany panicked; her face was as white as a sheet. "Get out! Get out!"

Where did these people come from? Why were they here?

One reporter sneered, "Brittany, you're married to Mr. Salter, yet you're here having a secret rendezvous with Mr. Dillion. You sure have a way with men!"

"She must have something up her sleeve to have snagged Mr. Salter." Another chimed in.

Before Brittany could defend herself, one eagle-eyed reporter caught sight of William's half-undressed state and jeered, "You're pregnant and still living it up, huh?"

William grabbed Brittany with one hand and flung a vase with the other. His usual calm demeanor was gone, "Get out. Now!"

"We're not public figures. You're not invited and have invaded our privacy. If you want to continue working in Imperial City, then get lost!"

The reporters were stunned into silence.

Just then, the waiter, who had gone out shopping for clothes, returned. The sight that met his eyes made his knees buckle.

The commotion had drawn the attention of William's friends and Hannah.

Hannah barged in, took one look at Brittany's pale face, and started shoving reporters out of the way. "Get out!"

Where did these people come from? They were bullying a pregnant woman and a disabled man. They had crossed a line!
