The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 478

"Dad's hit the nail on the head." Lionel Chester echoed, "Bri's under tight surveillance; we can't get to her. Our feud with Isaac is just making things more complicated."

Hannah slammed her fist on the dining table, her eyes welling up, "What the hell do we do now?"

Brittany had just lost her kid, and there was Isaac, proposing to someone else. If word got to her, she would have definitely lost her crap.

Lionel was at a loss too.

In the face of absolute power, all struggles seemed pointless.

The Chester household was in a total mess, while the Bennett household was all sunshine and rainbows.

The Bennetts were over the moon about that marriage. They were throwing a grand party.

Isaac was his usual cold self, but the Bennetts didn't give a damn.

After some small talk, the marriage was basically a done deal.

When Shona saw her parents' satisfaction and the grumpy faces of her uncles, she felt a strange sense of pleasure.

After dinner, Isaac refused to stay over.

After he left, Shona's father turned to Shona and said, "Mr. Salter and Brittany..."

"Dad, don't sweat it; he'll handle it."

Shona affectionately held her father's hand and said, "Just get ready to pay the bill and attend my engagement party."

Shona's uncle sneered, "Shona, you're not breaking up someone else's marriage, are you?"

Who didn't know Isaac was married?

Shona shot him a look, "Uncle, before you judge me, think about how many wives you've had. How many women do you've got on the side?"

She continued, "The engagement with the Salters is a done deal. Instead of giving me a hard time, why don't you go check up on your pregnant mistresses and see if their kids are actually yours?"

That particular uncle was the most promiscuous and unfaithful to his marriages.

Left speechless by Shona’s rebuke, he was fuming.

Shona's mom worriedly added, "Handle Brittany well; don't leave any loose ends."

"Got it, mom."
