The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 543

Isaac Salter had been stuck in the hospital for a full week. Many people came to visit, but he turned them all away.

It wasn't until the afternoon that Derek Bishop showed up.

"Heard you drank so much that you gave yourself a bleeding ulcer?" Derek couldn't fathom why Isaac would do that to himself.

"They moved in together." Isaac looked at Derek and said, "You knew she was alive these past five years. You think he's a better match for her, don't you?"

Derek's face fell, as if he'd been hit where it hurt. After a moment, he relaxed and sat down, "Zac, I owe you an apology. Only after Brittany Dustin's accident five years ago, I found out she was my cousin. My grandma had been looking for her for years. Brittany saved my life once, so I couldn't say no to her."

Derek knew that Isaac had had a hard time these past five years, but Brittany was his only cousin.

Derek asked, "You guys ended things five years ago. Why are you still doing this to yourself?"

Isaac choked up, "We never really broke up."

He didn't want to break up.

Derek knew how stubborn he was. Before leaving, he softened, "She's not living with William Dillion. They've only been friends these past five years. She wouldn't start anything new with anyone until she ended things with you."

After Derek left, Isaac called Nathan Jarvis, "Help me and Brittany get married; the sooner the better."

He couldn't bear the thought of Brittany with William. As long as he could make their marriage official, as long as he could make Brittany soften up, she would come back.

Later that day, Nathan handed him a marriage certificate and said, "Mr. Salter, your marriage to Brittany is finalized. No third party will know about this."

"I got it." Isaac looked at the marriage certificate in his hand.

Their only photo was printed on it.

In the photo, Brittany was beaming.

He held the certificate, a glimmer of light flickering in his eyes.
