"William, the wedding night didn't go as you thought." Brittany looked at his pale face, feeling heartbroken, and quickly explained the situation. "I really don't know what happened. I didn't plan to get back with him, and I never thought to disgrace the Dillion family."

After hearing her explanation, William breathed a sigh of relief, not quite getting what was going on.
