The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 138

She hugged herself tightly, suddenly backing away.

Lucian suddenly found it hard to breathe; his hands dropped, and looking at her, now terrified and alert, the man pursed his thin lips, shifted his gaze, and strode into the villa.

Allison covered her face, her body shaking uncontrollably.

A few minutes later, she straightened up her clothes.

Allison's clothes were practically unwearable, and several buttons on her chest had burst. She tidied herself up carefully, raised her hand, combed her messy hair with her fingers, and then tied it up.

"Woof woof—"

Allison looked up to see an Alaskan Malamute standing outside the car. Her voice was hoarse. "Lucky."

"Woof!"

Allison reached out and gave him a pat.

Lucky jumped into the car; he seemed to visit this car often and was very familiar with it. He lay down in front of Allison, looking up at her. Allison seemed to feel some warmth, and she hugged Lucky.

A little while later, she got out of the car, ready to leave.

She looked like a mess right now. Allison glanced at the man's suit scattered on the back seat, hesitated for a moment, then reached out and put it on. She couldn't leave stark naked.

Lucky seemed to know she was leaving and stood in front of her, as if inviting her into the villa.

Allison shook her head. "I won't go; there are demons inside."

She lowered her eyes and said, "Lucky, I'm leaving."

"Woof woof—"

Allison had only taken a few steps when she heard Lucky's call behind her. She turned around to see Lucky wagging his tail. She waved at him and then walked down the road in front of Magnolia Gardens, which was downhill. She had to walk downhill to catch a cab.

Lucian stood in the study on the second floor, the man holding a glass of red wine, watching the slender figure leave in the distance. The bite mark on his wrist seemed to start hurting. He looked at his own wrist. This woman was ruthless.
