The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 176

A black luxury car slowly pulled into the Lindberg family's mansion.

It came to a stop right at the front door.

A servant rushed into the living room, "Steve, Steve, Mr. George is back."

"What? George's back? Quick, go tell Mr. and Mrs.."

As soon as Steve finished his sentence, he was out the door.

About two minutes later.

Allison looked up to see a man dressed in a white tracksuit walk in. He had a face similar to Lucian's, but his eyebrows and eyes were softer. He saw Allison and gave a brief smile, "You must be Lucian's fiancée, Penelope."

Allison stood up, already knowing who this man was.

This was Lucian's second brother, George Lindberg.

"I didn't expect to see Penelope here. I rushed over and didn't have time to prepare a gift." George chuckled as he took a bag from his assistant's hand, "I'm not sure what you like. This was originally for a friend, but I’ll give it to you since we met today. I'll prepare something especially for you later."

Allison was slightly taken aback, then laughed, "You're too kind."

George's assistant told her, "Miss Zimmer, please accept it. It's Mr. George's sentiment."

Allison hesitated for a few seconds, then reached out to take it.

Upstairs, a man's deep voice echoed, "No need."

Lucian slowly descended the stairs, "If it's a gift intended for someone else, we don't need it."

He stood in front of Allison, blocking her view. The tense atmosphere was tangible.

The relationship between Lucian and his brother didn't seem too good.

It's been said that big families like the Lindbergs were riddled with internal strife.

George laughed, "I wasn't thoughtful enough. I'll prepare a gift specifically for Penelope next time."

Lucian smirked, "Allison, haven't you thanked George yet?"

Allison softly said, "George, thank you."
