In the past few days, Grace had been staying with Allison at Blue Mountain Estate. Allison's work schedule was all over the place. Sometimes she worked nights and slept during the day. Other times, she got off early and helped out with the day's chores.

By the time Grace woke up, Allison was already out for work.

In the kitchen, Allison had left breakfast ready for her mom, along with a small note of reminders.

Grace chuckled. Her daughter was just the best, so considerate. A sudden wave of disappointment washed over her. A shame that Allison wasn't her biological daughter!

After breakfast, Grace headed downstairs.

"Not just Leila, Gunner is here too! I'm so excited!"

"She's kinda pretty!"
