The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 341

Pitch black, dead of night.

A car speeding down the highway.

Inside the car, James had his eyes shut, leaning against the seat. The man driving took a glance at James through the rearview mirror, making sure he was sound asleep, before whipping out his phone and dialing a number, "Hey Hallon, I've done what you asked me to do. Got it. I'm heading to the Oakwood Hotel now."

Oakwood Hotel, a run-of-the-mill joint north of the city with dirt-cheap rooms. It was usually the choice of out-of-towners, merchants or tourists.

A tall bloke was escorting a handsome young man in a suit into the Oakwood Hotel. Cassie, the receptionist on duty, swooped in at once, "How can I assist you, sir?"

"I need to get to room 306." The guy said.

Cassie quickly grabbed the key card and followed.

As they exited the elevator, Cassie saw the tall man struggling to support another guy who was three sheets to the wind. She rushed to lend a hand, her cheeks flushing as she caught a glimpse of the handsome man's profile.

Once they reached room 306, Cassie swiped the key card. The tall man ushered the handsome man inside. Cassie, ever the warm host, asked, "Need anything else?"

"Nope." The tall man shut the door. Cassie was left standing outside, a faint whiff of cologne still lingering in the air.

"What a hunk, and he seems loaded too." She thought, "Why would he pick this tiny hotel to stay?"

The tall man made another call. About 20 minutes later, the door was opened again. Another man walked in, leading a drunk young woman.

The tall man asked, "Is that her?"

"No doubt about it. Got her from Walter. The job's done, let's scram."

They laid the drunk woman on the bed, next to the drunk man.
