The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 621

Abbey swung the door open and stepped inside, her eyes instantly landing on Robbie, who was sprawled on the couch, gaming controller in hand. He didn't even bother looking up, just muttered, "Hey, can you fix me some ramen?"

"You can't make it yourself?" Abbey retorted, though she was already moving towards the kitchen to do exactly what he'd asked.

While Abbey prepared the quick meal, Robbie caught a whiff of the savory scent and finally glanced her way. Noticing she had changed clothes and was sporting a new necklace, he asked, "New bling?"

"Yep," Abbey replied, unfazed by his curiosity. She often splurged on knock-off designer goods, so Robbie's brief interest was no surprise.

With a shrug, Robbie dove into his bowl of noodles.

"Listen up," Abbey said, suddenly all business. "As soon as you're done eating, pack up. We've got to get out of here. This place is bad news."

Robbie felt the same but couldn't help his practical nature. "And where are we gonna crash?"

"Anywhere's got to be better than here. Hurry up. Bryan's out, and now's our chance."

They packed quickly, and Abbey sent a discreet text to Steven before pulling out a packet of pills from her bag—a gift from Steven that could knock a person out for a full day. She waited until the delivery guy dropped off some food before slipping the pills into one of the meals.

As she headed back, Joey—built like a linebacker and easy on the eyes—was lumbering up the stairs.
