Allison bit her lip, trying to keep her voice steady, "After cleaning upstairs, I came down to find Mr. Lindberg making a call... After Mr. Lindberg left, I went to tidy up the balcony. If you suspect I hid the ring there, feel free to go search."

She was gambling, gambling that all Wendy saw was her coming out from the balcony.
