The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 223

Murray and Zephyr were once business partners, with Murray being a key player in the Sinclair group.

He could distrust anyone except Murray.

Zephyr realized things were getting serious.

Thalassa could no longer stay in the Sinclair group.

"Murray, contact HR and fire Thalassa straight away. Tell them it's my decision," Zephyr planned to bypass Lysander and sack Thalassa directly.

"But what about Lysander?" Murray was worried. What if Lysander disagreed with Thalassa's dismissal?

Zephyr mulled it over, recalling Lysander threatened him over the phone to warn him not to pull a stunt like this again.

If Lysander found out that he had sacked Thalassa, he would surely protest.

He thought of a better idea. "Don't let Lysander know. If he asks, tell him Thalassa resigned because she found a better job."

Soon, Murray brought Thalassa's employment contract and briefed Zephyr about it.

After hearing it, Zephyr said, "Pay Thalassa ten thousand dollars as severance. Pay the company twenty thousand for the transition period. I'll cover it."

He was willing to shell out thirty grand, as long as it could get Thalassa out of the Sinclair group.

Compared to freeing Lysander from the woman's trouble and getting rid of an ambitious woman, thirty grand was chump change.

Murray immediately carried out Zephyr's instructions.

Thalassa was in her office, absent-mindedly looking at Lysander's schedule.

She thought, "Did I not make myself clear enough? Or were the office rumors still swirling? Why had there been no news so far?"
