Cameron felt as if his sharp-tongued niece had bit into his jugular, and the rage boiling in his chest almost made his veins explode.
Seeing his lover stand up for him, Justin felt a warm glow in his heart.
But he did not forget himself, still looking at Bella with concern, gently squeezing her hand to signal that she should show some restraint in front of Wyatt.
“Bella, that’s enough.” Indeed, Wyatt’s face turned dark.
“Uncle Cameron, you brought so many people in such a grand gesture to visit my dad today. I thought you really turned over a new leaf.”
Bella’s rosy lips curled up coldly, dripping with sarcasm. “However, I didn’t expect you to come here to accuse us. You made a grave mistake, and my dad helped you, yet you have a problem with that? Since whatever we do is wrong, you might as well repay the $50 million you owe on your own. You shouldn’t be short of a single cent, right?”
Bella’s words brought immense satisfaction to the other Thompsons.
This old geezer bragged in front of the door just now, and Bella returned it all, word for word.
Cameron’s lips twitched uncontrollably, as if a nerve had snapped. He was burning in rage.
“Bella! You…”
Wyatt suddenly felt a surge of anger. His head throbbed in pain, and his hand, hidden beneath the sheets, trembled uncontrollably.
“Bella, stop talking. Uncle Wyatt doesn’t look right!” Seeing the blood drain from Wyatt’s face, Justin quickly whispered a reminder in her ears.
Sensing this, Cameron rolled his eyes, and he began to bawl shamelessly without any regard for his image.
“Brother… I feel so bitter! I have no dignity left as an elder… I might as well be dead!”
