In Pivotage, a strict rule dictated that only Christopher could take Yvonne out.
Yet Drew challenged the rule.
Only he had the guts.
Yvonne was startled at first, but when she looked up and saw Drew look ahead without hesitation, she threw caution to the wind and snuggled up in his embrace.
At that moment, it did not matter where they went. She just wanted to be with him.
“M-Mr. Iverson, Drew drove Ms. Smith out.” Taylor was anxious.
He knew that Christopher saw Yvonne as Bella’s inferior replacement. Often enough, Christopher would trample on Yvonne’s dignity and use her as his pawn.
Still, no one could take Yvonne out of Pivotage.
Drew was getting on Christopher’s last nerve.
“Take backup and go after them.” Christopher panted heavily and bitterly as his rage built up. “Either way, get Yvonne back here.”
…
A black Aston Martin raced in the dark of the night.
Drew wound down the car window, letting the breeze ruffle his messy locks. He had one hand on the wheel, driving carefreely.
However, Yvonne’s head was spinning from the high-speed drive.
After getting into a hotel room, Yvonne raced to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet bowl.
Drew folded his arms and leaned against the door frame with a smile. “I don’t think you can handle 3D and VR. Here I thought I found a partner to enjoy these games with.”
