The Great Medical Saint novel Chapter 217

Matthew was confused. Why did Austin show up?

The prescriptions Matthew had provided would alleviate Austin's symptoms immediately. So, why would he pay a visit so early? Could it be that the medicine wasn't working?

Feeling puzzled, Matthew went upstairs with Rachel.

On their way there, Rachel continued fuming. "Stay out of company matters from now on, Matthew. You have no idea how business works, and you're just making things worse for me."

Matthew felt speechless. "I have retrieved the 50 million dollars, Rachel. How am I giving you trouble?"

Rachel shook her head. "Don't you see? Austin is here to stir up trouble. Even paying 60 million dollars can't fix this."

When they were chatting, they soon entered the office.

Upon seeing Austin, Rachel enthusiastically greeted him, "I'm so sorry, Mr. Stanford Senior. Our employees were out of line and upset you."

Austin fixed his gaze on Matthew all the while. Upon hearing Rachel's words, he quickly explained, "You've got it wrong, Ms. Carter. I'm here to apologize because I shouldn't have taken your money. If you need anything in the future, feel free to ask. I'll do everything I can."

Rachel gawked at Austin in surprise. What happened? Why had Austin's attitude suddenly changed?

Austin let go of Rachel's hand and approached Matthew. "Thanks, Mr. Grant. My symptoms are getting much better today."

Matthew was baffled. Why would Austin come so early to thank him? It was too unusual. There had to be another reason.

"No need for thanks. Just get to the point."
