[Logan POV]

I looked into my mates eyes, and for once in my life, I was afraid of replying to a question. I was left with no choice than to ignore her question, because I knew it was going to lead to more questions,which was in turn going to make her run away from me.-

"Mate just asked you a question and you seem to be avoiding her, why don't you tell her who we are?" I heard my wolf ranting.

"How the hell do you want me explaining to her about all that now? She needs time, we will gradually tell her everything she needs to know about us." I hear him, backing down.

"Are you okay Sir, I can see you struggling with something in your mind." She said nonchalantly.

I didn't like her calling me Sir, neither did my wolf. I took a seat next to the one she was seating, placing my hands on her left knee. "Call me Logan, Logan O'Connor. That's my name." I said extending my hand to hers.

"It's a pleasure meeting you, Logan. I'm Madiya Johnson." She said smiling at me, extending her hand to meet mine.

"You will have to come with me now, if those guys come back, they will surely hurt you." I said in a protective tone. I really did not know if she was going to accept coming with me, and I wasn't ready to be brutal, I wanted her to follow me on her will.

"Okay Sir, I will follow you on one condition." I heard her say in a sweet voice.

"Which is?" I asked, hoping it was something I could meet up with.

"The man behind you, he should stop looking at me in that manner." She said throwing me a smile.

I really did not know who she was talking about, I turned my head faced with my good for nothing beta. What the hell was he still doing there, I thought I sent him back to the SUV.

He was leaned to one of the pillars of the building, folded his arms below his chest and focused on my Madiya. I almost asked him to remove his eyes from my damsel. Not wanting to claim full authority over her for the moment, I backed down.

I could see him smile when I held Madiya's hand into mine. He seemed happy for me, and that was the most important thing.

It took us practically five minutes to get to the car, when we arrived, my driver was out of the car, standing very firm, he looked more like a soldier. This got Madiya very worried.

"I hope you aren't kidnapping me?" She asked facing me. Her words made me panic as to why she will think I was about kidnapping her.

"Hell no. Why would you say such?"

"Because I see your guard standing, waiting on the next victim." She said rubbing her eyes with the palm of her hands.
