Debilla turned to me, looking at me with a deadly face, as to why my mate disrespected her.

"pardon her my sister, she's human and she knows nothing about us."

[Madiya POV]

Once I walked into the house, I noticed a lady, older enough to be my grand mother, standing in front of the door with a tray of fruits in her hands. She greeted me happily, and brought the tray closer for me to pick some fruits. I was scared to eat, because I knew nothing about this lady, though I knew she was a relative to Logan.

To cut off my fears, Logan took a slice of pineapple chewing them, then his friend did same, before I got relieved and picked some, gently smiling.

What baffled me the most was when she ordered the maids to prepare the dining table, it was like they were celebrating something, and boom a big cake was brought to my face. How did she know I was celebrating my birthday? Did Logan call informing her he was coming home with a stranger and that her birthday was today? What about my age, how did she know about it?

I heard them all call me Luna, and one of them kneeled kissing the back of my hand, at this point it was no longer funny, why would they all call me names I have never heard before. When I tried taking some distance, to protect myself, I heard Logan say to the lady, "pardon her my sister, she's human and she knows nothing about us." my eyes widen, making me panic. Wait a minute, weren't we all humans? Or was I missing something.

"what's going on here, aren't we all humans?" I asked, widening my eyes, than before. I fell like disappearing, but where the fuck was I.

"can you calm down, I believe you've had enough of the day, my maid will prepare your room, maybe tomorrow I might answer the questions troubling you, but for now you need rest." I heard Logan say, with an angelic voice.

Maybe? Was he actually kidding me, I needed answers at that moment, and all he had to say was that I had a difficult day, and all of that. "no, I wants answers now, or you take me back to the club. I won't take that risk of sleeping in a stranger 's home, whereas I know nothing about them." I said looking into his eyes.

"you can't go back to the club, or wherever you want me to drop you. Those guys might come back for you." he said trying to protect me. In all these I was confused, what do I do now? Sleep here, or return to my house? What if James comes looking for me, I know he wouldn't just let go. He promised I was going to pay back for every dime he spent on me.

While contemplating on my next move, I heard my phone ringing, it was Edith. What the hell, it's almost midnight and she's calling, why? Hope she got home safely.
