The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus) novel Chapter 459

The woman's lips curled into a wry smile, her shrewd eyes calm as a still pond. "Oh? Mr. Andersen, you’re quite the success story, aren’t you? A man like that is bound to have a wife at home. What if there's already a lady of the house? What then?"

As she spoke, she traced seductive circles on Lucius' palm, her captivating gaze locked on his every expression.

Without a second thought, Lucius shook his head and declared, "If you're with me, that hag inside won't be a problem. I'll make sure she's out on her ear!"

Pleased, her red lips curled into a satisfied smirk.

It seemed Lucius could wait no longer. He grabbed Samantha's hand and pulled her into the mansion.

The night was just setting in, and Gabby was cuddled up with Anna on the couch, lost in the glow of the television. Lucius hadn't been home in ages. Gabby longed to see him but wouldn’t dare disturb him, for fear of being a nuisance.

That's when Lucius strode in with the woman, paying no mind to Gabby, and leading the beauty in his arms straight upstairs.

Gabby watched, stunned, as Lucius walked in with the flamboyant woman. Her mind reeled, unable to process the scene before her. She had imagined Lucius painting the town red, but never did she think he'd bring one of his flings straight into their home.

"Stop right there!" Gabby rose, barely clinging to her composure, and demanded of the woman, "Who are you? What are you doing in my house at this hour?!"

The woman leaned into Lucius, wrapping an arm around his neck, unfazed by Gabby's interrogation. "Who am I? I'm the future lady of this mansion, and it's not your place to question me."

To twist the knife further, Samantha planted a deliberate kiss on Lucius' cheek and chuckled, "Isn't that right, darling? You said I'm to be the mistress of this house."

Pleased by the kiss, Lucius nodded. "That's right. This place is yours if you want it."

The woman looked down her nose at Gabby with disdain. "Dear, what should we do about this clueless old maid? You'll have to let her go tomorrow; she's such an eyesore."

Gabby trembled with indignation. She was only twenty-six. How dare this woman, who was older than her, call her an old maid!

Disappointed, Gabby turned to Lucius. "Is this true, Lucius? You've fallen for this...slut and want me gone? Have you really become so heartless?"
