The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus) novel Chapter 530

Hector could tell he hadn’t quite had his fill, but with Bianca fretting over their wailing child, she bit her lip with a troubled expression and whispered, “Hurry up, the baby’s crying.”

“Alright, wait for me.” To prevent Bianca from being distracted, Hector simply bent down and planted a gentle kiss on her lips, shielding her from the sight of her worry.

“Wah, wah, wah!”

Hector stumbled, nearly toppling over. Fine! It seemed like devil number two had joined the fray! The children were like conspirators, crying in turns. Their voices were amplifying until it felt like the bedroom walls were about to crumble!

“Honey, move!” Bianca’s heart ached for her little treasures. She couldn’t wait any longer and tried to get up from beneath Hector.

Hector quickly sped up. “No way, Bee, let them cry a bit! If I get distracted now, I’ll be useless, and do you want to live a life devoid of pleasure?”

The kids, seeing their parents weren’t coming yet, ramped up their crying once more.

Bianca was nearly sent soaring by Hector’s vigorous movements.

Ten minutes later, with their two treasures nearly cried out, Hector finally paused. He contentedly wrapped his arms around Bianca lying on the carpet and headed towards the bathroom.

Before he could finish showering, Bianca, though exhausted, already lifted their two spent little ones.

Hector, wrapped in a towel and still catching his breath, took one of them and, with a light smack on the child’s bottom, grumbled, “You little rascal, just wait until you're older. I’ll teach you a lesson!”

“Hey, can’t you be gentler? What if you hurt the baby!” Bianca scolded, caressing her child's tender little behind, “Don’t cry, sweetheart. We won’t play with Daddy, okay?”

Hector immediately felt slighted. “Honey, how can you be so partial? You never comfort me like that.”

Just as Bianca was about to retort, the doorbell echoed from downstairs, prompting her to nudge Hector. “Go check it out, someone’s here.”

Hector casually dressed. “So what? We have staff for that.” Though he said this, Hector still made his way quickly out of the bedroom and down the stairs.

As Hector descended the staircase, he was greeted by the cheerful voice of Jonas. “Hi Uncle Hector!”

“Oh, it’s Jonas, welcome, welcome.” Hector quickly approached, lifting Jonas up in a bear hug. “Wow, look at you, growing up fast!”

“That’s right, I’m practically an adult now!” Jonas boasted with a tilt of his chin before asking, “Uncle Hector, we came to see your new babies. My Mom and Dad are with me.”

Right on cue, Natalia and Magnus walked in. Natalia’s presence brightened the entire living room. Magnus handed the fruit basket he was carrying to the maid and nodded at Hector as a greeting. He didn’t want to come, really, but couldn’t win against his wife and son, so he took on the role of chauffeur and porter to bring them over.

Ever since he had kids, Hector had been in a great mood and no longer held grudges against Magnus. Hector cheerfully hollered, “Magnus, good to see you! Have a seat.”
