When Nanako was deep in her thought, Charlie had already driven his car to the airport.

After parking, he got out of the car with Nanako and bent down to put the car keys on top of the vehicle's front tires. 5

Charlie answered with a smile, "I'm leaving the keys here for my friend. Otherwise, the key would have to follow me back to Oskia." 1

Nanako asked doubtfully, "Won’t it be lost? If someone finds out, won’t they be able to drive the car away?"

Charlie laughed. "No one will notice it. Besides, there are so many cars here. Who would bend down to check each of these cars' front tires anyway?" 2

He then added, "I'll inform the owner where I've put the key so that he can come and drive the car whenever it's convenient for him."

Nanako smiled and nodded, "You're so smart, Charliekun. I would've never thought of this idea in my life." 1

Charlie chuckled. "I just wanted to save some money. I f I were to bring it back to Oskia and mail the key to him, the postage fee is quite costly." 4

Nanako broke into laughter and said, "Charlie-kun,

considering your current situation, surely you won't b e short of money with the 4.5 billion dollar contribution from my father and Apothecary Pharmaceutical's rapid expansion. Why bother being such a scrooge?" 6

Charlie smiled faintly. "I'm not a scrooge, but this is simply being prudent in our living. We should spend only on things that are necessary and worthwhile, and not spend a single dime on the unnecessary." 5

Nanako nodded slowly as she digested his remark." Thank you, Charlie-kun. I learned another lesson from you today." 3

Charlie blushed and returned a charming smile." You're too polite. I'm not a good teacher. I'm just expressing my rather raw, personal opinions."
