Albert quickly asked his subordinates to open the heavy iron door. As soon as they stepped through the door, he immediately heard some fighting dogs in the surrounding kennels barking wildly.
When he saw this, Albert immediately shouted with a cold expression on his face, "All of you better f*cking shut up right now! If any dog continues barking, I will kill it and eat its meat today!” 5
What was even more amazing was that all of the dogs i n the kennel immediately stopped barking without exception as soon as Albert shouted.
Albert was finally satisfied, and he told Charlie," Master Wade, please come with me!"
Charlie followed Albert into the kennel, and he saw a group of Walter’s men as well as Cadfan’s subordinates, Matteo and the other three men, in the middle section of the kennel.
As soon as Matteo saw Charlie, the look in his eyes instantly changed as though he had just seen a ghost.
After getting imprisoned in the dog farm and witnessing Edmund's fate with his own eyes, Matteo could not help but feel even more afraid and fearful of Charlie.
He was locked up in this place now, and what he was most afraid of and worried about was how Charlie was going to deal with him next.
What if Charlie decided to arrange for him to have a similar fate as Edmund, then? Wouldn't he spend the rest of his life wishing he was dead rather than alive?!
What made him feel even more afraid was if Charlie really asked his subordinate to raise a group of African hyenas. What would he do, then?!
Therefore, when Matteo saw Charlie walking over to them, he knelt on the ground inside the iron cage as h e started pleading, "Master... Master Wade... please have mercy. We know that what we did was wrong now. We truly know of our mistakes. Please be merciful and let us live..." 3
Albert yelled sharply at this time, "If the few of you continue chattering and making so much noise, I will tie all of you up and throw you into a dog cage filled with fighting dogs who have been starved for more than three days!"
Matteo immediately trembled uncontrollably in shock. He did not even dare to continue saying another word, just like the fighting dogs who had been barking before this.
Albert hurriedly said to Charlie, "Master Wade, please d o not mind these guys. They are new here and do not understand the rules. Allow me to continue training them for a few more days, and I can assure you that
they will certainly be very obedient and docile."
