Rachel was also in a very good mood. She took out red wine and wanted to drink with him too.
Rachel sincerely liked Charlie, and she was very satisfied with him. So, the way that she was treating Charlie was no longer as if he was her future son-in-law, but instead, she was simply treating him as if he was her own son.
Charlie also really enjoyed this kind of feeling in the Golding family where all three members of the Golding family treated him with utmost sincerity.
In addition, both of their families had a family-like friendship for so many years, and thus, this made Charlie truly feel a sense of home.
Just as Charlie and Yule’s family of three were happily drinking and dining together, Felix sent Helena back to the hotel before returning to the Wade family mansion to resume his duties.
When Jeremiah saw that Charlie did not come back with him, he immediately spoke up and asked," What's the matter? Where’s Charlie? Why didn't he come back with you guys?"
Felix had been waiting to come back to complain about Charlie. When he heard Jeremiah asking about Charlie, he immediately complained angrily, " Grandpa, that guy, Charlie, is too much! So many of us
went to pick him up, and it was already bad enough that he refused to come with us, but he was also rude t o you! I told him time and time again that you were at home, waiting for him to come back, but he actually said 'whoever it is'! He is supercilious and arrogant!"
Jeremiah frowned slightly and asked him, "Where did Charlie go, then?”
"He went to the Golding family villa. Quinn from the Golding family came to pick him up, and the both of them left together."
Jeremiah nodded lightly. After that, he said indifferently, "It's fine if he went there. It's also a good thing for him to get closer to the Golding family."
After saying that, Jeremiah looked at Stephen and asked, "Stephen, did you tell Charlie that he would have to come home tomorrow no matter what it is?"
Stephen stepped forward immediately and said respectfully, "Lord Wade, I've already spoken to Young Master Charlie, and he said that he will come home on time in the morning tomorrow."
"That's good." Jeremiah felt a weight lifted off his chest and he said, "Since he wants to come over tomorrow, we will wait for him, then."
Felix did not expect that even though he had approached the old man to complain and say that Charlie was disobeying him, the old man did not seem to be angry at all.
