Meanwhile, Charlie and Helena had already arrived at the Queen's ward on the top floor of the ancient castle.
The guards at the door originally wanted to stop them, but they immediately let Charlie and Helena in after asking Olivia for her instructions.
When Charlie came to the ward, he sent the medical staff away and glanced at the old lady who was lying o n the bed. This was a dying old woman, and since she had been tortured by her illness for a long time, she had already long lost the aura and majesty of a queen.
Helena was filled with expectations as she looked at Charlie and asked him, "Mr. Wade, can you cure my grandmother and wake her up?"
Charlie said indifferently, "I will definitely be able to heal her as long as she is still breathing."
As he spoke, Charlie then walked to the bed and placed his hand on the old lady's pulse. A trace of Reiki slipped in quietly.
A few moments later, Charlie gradually frowned, and h e spoke up and said, "Old lady, I guess you must be the loneliest person in this world now, right?"
As soon as Charlie said this, he could feel the old lady's fingers twitching slightly.
Helena was puzzled, and she asked, "Charlie... what do
you mean by that?"
Charlie shook his head and sighed as he said, "Your grandmother is still conscious. If my guess is right, she should be able to hear us now."
"What?!" Helena exclaimed, "Grandma can hear us? Then why is she still unconscious and in a coma?"
Charlie said seriously, "It’s just her body that is unconscious and in a coma, but not her consciousness. She's merely unable to control her body."
As he spoke, Charlie deliberately spoke in a very emotional and regretful tone, "The reason why I say that your grandmother is the loneliest person in this world is because no one knows that she is still conscious and sober. No one knows that she has only lost control of her body..."
"Your grandmother's current situation is equivalent to being permanently trapped inside her body. If she can regain control of her body, she will be able to wake up i n the true sense, then. Otherwise, she will have to live inside her closed brain, and she will never be able to communicate or interact with anyone else until her body is declared dead."
