As for people like Albert, Liam, Isaac, and Graham, it was even more certain that they would never reveal a single word if someone were to look for them to inquire about Charlie’s deeds.
So, even if Aurous Hill was Charlie's turf, there were really not many people who knew him as ’Master Wade’ in Aurous Hill.
This made Kathleen even more puzzled.
She had originally thought that Charlie should be a famous local Feng Shui master, and that was why some local dignitaries had to show him respect.
But now, it seemed as though he was hardly known locally, which was really strange.
Kathleen frowned and said, "I've been feeling that something is not quite right with this matter and that something is not quite right with Master Wade, but I cannot figure out where the problem lies at the moment."
Sherry hurriedly comforted her as she said, "Don't worry too much, Young Lady. Perhaps Master Wade is not really that capable, and there might be no direct connection between him and the Rejuvenating Pill."
Kathleen said very firmly, "Sherry, you have to remember that our old ancestors have a saying stating that when something seems unusual and out of the
ordinary, there must be something hidden within it. This phrase should be the gold standard for judging problems. In any matter, if anything goes against common sense and if we cannot seem to understand the problem, there must be something hidden that we have not discovered or fully understood yet. As soon a s we understand it, we will naturally be able to see through it."
This was the experience that Kathleen had summed u p when she had still been very young.
When she was a child, she had watched a magician perform magic tricks, and each magic trick seemed to be so wonderful and mysterious. So, she could not figure out the reason behind it at all.
If it was other children, they would simply convert this mystery directly into their worship and admiration for the magician, thinking that the magician could really do magic.
However, Kathleen had always believed in one thing. There was a reason that one could not understand behind all magic. It was not that the magician really knew how to do magic, but it was just that she had not uncovered and seen through the secret yet.
