"Who is it..." Albert was surprised and asked, "That person wants to come to The Heaven Springs to eat here for a month? That person must be insane, right?”
The manager was also very puzzled, and he said, "I don't understand it either. When the person came, she asked what is the most expensive package in our restaurant. So, I quoted her the price of two hundred thousand dollars for a meal without drinks in the Diamond Room. After that, the other party did not say anything, and she simply booked the room for a month for both lunch and dinner and so, it would be sixty meals in total! Twelve million dollars!"
Albert frowned and said, "Is that person insane? Could it be that she is deliberately playing a trick on you?"
"No!" The manager hurriedly said, "That lady was really cool! I said that it would be a minimum of twelve million dollars and that I could give her a discount if she were to really make the booking. The lady then transferred fifteen million dollars directly to The Heaven Springs' bank account and said that it was so that we could upgrade the standard of the dishes that had just been mentioned..."
As the manager spoke, he had an incredulous expression on his face as he said, "Don Albert, it's fifteen million dollars! We have never received such a big order before since the opening of The Heaven
Springs!”
Albert immediately said angrily, "Who asked you to accept the money?! I usually use the Diamond Room to entertain Master Wade. You are the manager here, so shouldn't you know better?"
It was only then that the manager realized that he had done something wrong, and he said ashamedly, "I'm s o sorry, Don Albert... I was just thinking about negotiating the big order and forgot that you would want to entertain Master Wade. I'll go down and talk t o her and have the finance department refund the money back to her in the same manner."
Albert snorted coldly and said, "Remember that from now on, the Diamond Room is reserved only for
Master Wade. If Master Wade does not come, it will remain empty for me. No one else can use it even if they were to pay more money."
The manager nodded his head in fear immediately and said, "I understand, Don Albert. Don’t worry. There will not be a next time!"
It was only then that the expression on Albert's face eased up a little as he said coldly, "I have to go out to d o something, so you should hurry up and sort it out."
Having said that, he pushed the door open directly and took the elevator downstairs.
When Albert came out of The Heaven Springs, he happened to walk past the reception desk, and he saw a woman in business attire standing next to the reception desk. Albert thought about what his subordinate had just said and so, he subconsciously took a second look at the other party.
