ISLA
After a couple of minutes of savoring the moment with the harmonious music, we stopped dancing and gets back to our seats, and enjoy our glass of champagne. Until Zero asked me if it was fine to me if we spend the night in the hotel upstairs of the restaurant.
I was hesitant because of my what-ifs. What if Apollo suddenly wants to visit me or what. However, Zero told me that it was fine. Apollo will never do that since he’s busy plus the fact it’s already past eight.
In the end, I agreed to spend the night with him. Zero booked a room on the third floor of the building. I can’t help to feel an awkwardness between us.
“What’s with the silence?” Zero suddenly asked which makes me shake my head. “Do you want to take a dip in the sea?” he continued.
I bit my lower lip as I sat on the soft velvety bed. “I didn’t bring any swim—”
“We can buy in the souvenir shop next to this building,” he uttered. “I don’t bring one too,” he added.
I just nodded. I want to see the sea at the same time, the softy bed calling me. I lay my back on it as I stared at the ceiling. I heaved a deep sigh.
“What’s with the sigh?” Zero asked as he sat beside me and met my eyes.
I pressed my lips and shook my head. “Nothing. It’s just that…” I paused and looked back to the ceiling.
“What?”
“This is my first time to be with a man inside a hotel—” I didn’t finish my words when I heard him chuckle which makes me turn to him, frowning.
“Sorry,” he uttered when our eyes met, “I just find you cute while saying—”
“Zero, I am beautiful, okay? Beautiful, alluring, and all the synonyms of it, get it?” I uttered, trying to hide the embarrassment that I felt about being with him inside the hotel for the first time.
Zero formed a sly smirk on his lips. “I like the way how you pronounce my name,” he asserted and suddenly reached for my hand and pulled me closer to him. damn, he’s too strong, and his grip left a tiny sore on my delicate skin.
“A-huh?” I can only utter as he let the back of my head, rest in his lap. I looked up and met his eyes. I gulped when my eyes glanced at his natural pinkish-red lips.
“I don’t think you want to get a dip. It seems like you wanted to sleep or just have some rest in this comfy bed,” he uttered. And he was right. Damn, suddenly, I just want to lay my back on the bed and take a nap.
I don’t know but I just want to rest.
Having sex with him in this private place didn’t even cross my mind, not until I saw his tempting lips.
Oh, Isla, what a pervert you are, I thought.
“Care to share what’s on your mind?” he uttered, still his eyes into mine.
“Zero…” I called his name, but damn, I sound like I am seducing him. I pressed my lips together and bit it after—it’s my mannerism.
“Hmm…”
“Kiss me.”
Zero arched his brow when he heard it which makes me feel a little embarrassed. Curse you, Isla, I thought.
