THE NEXT MORNING.
I wake up early to have my bath. I walk to Raymond's room.
"Hey, Ray, it's me, Richard. Open your door, I know. I keep knocking, but he refuses to open the door.
"Open this door now," I commanded.
He opens the door. "Alpha, what happened? Why are you waking me up at this time?
"You need to get ready. We are going to Jane's home together, I stated.
"What: why? Why should I follow you to her home? He asked. Is she not your mate?
"Is there something you are not telling me, Ray? I eyed him suspiciously. "Why are you so worked up because I asked you to escort me to my mate's house?
"It's too early, alpha. "I'm sure the alpha of their pack is still sleeping with his luna," he let out. "Why must you go now?"
"I can't wait again. Even if Jane's parents were still sleeping, I’m going to wake them up, "I announce. I'm sure they will be very happy if they know I'll be accepting their daughter as my mate.
"Okay! "Allow me to have my bath," he responded.
"Okay. Be fast with whatever you want to do. I will be waiting for you. Don't keep me waiting too long.
"I won't, Alpha,'' he replied.
I walked downstairs. I took my seat and waited for him. After waiting without seeing him, I decided to mindlink him.
"Hey, what are you doing? Don't keep me waiting.
"I'm on my way, Alpha," he replied.
Raymond refuses to come down after telling me he is on his way. What is he doing? I need to go get him myself. Why is he intentionally wasting my time? I was about to stand up when I saw an angry-looking Ray coming downstairs.
Is he that upset with me?
"Can we go now? He asked.
"Yes, let's go," I reply.
I drove out of my pack. The drive was silent. I tried to start a conversation with him. Raymond never uttered a single word. The drive was long.
"We are here," I announce. He comes down from the car when I park my car. Still silent, he began to walk toward the alpha house.
"Where are you heading to? I asked him.
"The alpha house," or do you know where the betta stays?
"He must be living in the pack with his family. "So where will he live if not in the alpha pack house?" I asked him. "No need to bother the alpha, I can smell the guards." Come out.
Three of the guards come out. They bow their heads in respect. "Alpha king, what can we do for you?
"I need you to tell me where the betta stays," I stated. "Where can I find him?"
