"Oh my, I envy him so much!"
The other members of the Occult Palace were filled with jealousy when they saw that Ravi had been accepted as a disciple by a god of chaos.
"Ravi's got a bright future ahead of him,"
added the Occult Palace's elders.
By the time they had finished speaking,
the middle-aged man had already brought Ravi to a deep void in the Cliff Chaotic Sea.
There was a small world here and,
together with Ravi, the middle-aged man entered into it.
There was a massive creature shrouded in a thick black fog, sitting with its legs crossed.
"Go on and greet Lord Lennox,"
the middle-aged man said forcefully to Ravi.
"Lord Lennox?"
Ravi was taken aback, staring up at the enormous figure hidden beneath the dense dark fog.
He could tell at a glance that the creature in front of him was from the darkness race.
Although Ravi had decided to split from the reincarnation race, the darkness race had always been an enemy to him. Shaking that was going to be difficult.
The sight of this creature of darkness naturally had him wary and vigilant.
"Fear not.
Lord Lennox and I are close friends.
There is much you can learn from him,"
the middle-aged man said with a persuasive smile.
"Friends?"
This single word stunned Ravi to his core.
"Yes.
You used to belong to the reincarnation race.
Most of the cultivation methods you make use of have something to do with, in some shape or form, the reincarnation energy and the law of reincarnation," said the creature in the mist, slow and contemplatively.
Its voice was laden with gloom and despair, sounding as if it had come from an icy cavern, hundreds of millions of years ago.
"Young man.
You've made the right decision.
The reincarnation race is living on borrowed time. They are on their last legs, and our darkness race will destroy them sooner or later.
We have already sent an army to hunt down any remaining survivors of their race.
It won't be long before their entire race and all its roots are completely wiped out.
You should be glad you met your master and broke off from the reincarnation race. You did so just in time.
If you hadn't, you would've have been killed just as the rest are about to be,"
said Lord Lennox, lumbering through his echoing words.
"Young man, are you interested in working with the darkness race?"
asked the creature of darkness suddenly.
"Oh, err?
Me, working in cooperation with the darkness race?"
Ravi did not know what to say.
"Yes.
Trust me, join us and I will provide you with infinite rewards and gains.
You are aware of the strength of our darkness race, are you not?
We will be your strongest benefactor from now on, your biggest supporter, as long as you agree to cooperate with us.
Anything you want, you need only ask. Power, resources, cultivation methods or treasures, they can all be yours. I will provide you with as much as you like, until you are satisfied," the creature of darkness continued.
He was doing all he could to sway Ravi to his side.
"Master..."
Ravi did not know how to reply. He looked to the middle-aged man, hoping he would help him.
"I think you should seriously consider it.
Lord Lennox is a senior member of the darkness race. Not to mention, he's also a god of chaos.
And as a god of chaos, he certainly will not go back on his word,"
informed the middle-aged man.
"That's right, young man.
You will benefit endlessly from joining forces with us.
There is no down side.
This is a great chance you've been given.
