Mia let out a shrill cry of pain as she fell hard to the ground.

Clarence quickly rushed forward and helped her to her feet. "Are you alright, Mia?" he asked. Then, he uttered between clenched teeth, "Who is the new son-in-law that you've gotten for me?! Just call him up and tell him to come over and teach this brat a lesson!"

Mia rubbed her aching butt while slowly getting up from the ground. Pointing at Kingsley, she said venomously, "Fine! Since you have a death wish, I'll call my boyfriend over and make you and Reene grovel at my feet!" With that, she took out her phone and started dialing a number.
