The Supreme Man: Took Everything in Power novel Chapter 500

Leroy looked at Kingsley cautiously and said, "That's why… I collaborated with a different construction company instead. However, you haven't been in Cleapolis recently, so I was thinking of waiting for you to come back before I tell you…"

Kingsley gave him a satisfactory nod. "Good job. I was already planning to do that in the first place."

After he heard from Mason that Jonah was one of the culprits behind Xavier's murder, he planned to cancel the contract with Codrington Construction. However, he'd been tied up with various other matters recently, so he had to put this issue off. He hadn't expected Leroy to settle this in his stead, though.

At the sight of Kingsley not getting mad, Leroy felt at ease. With a cheeky smile, he said, "It's great that you didn't blame me for deciding on my own, Mr. Nicholson."

"I put you in charge of the Nicholson Family Cemetery's construction, so this is within your rights. You didn't decide on your own." Kingsley said, "Just do what you want in the future. I trust you!"

After hearing the word 'trust' emerging from Kingsley's lips, Leroy instantly teared up. "Mr. Nicholson, I won't let you down! I swear, I'll build the cemetery as if it were my father's!"

His words rendered Kingsley speechless for a moment before he finally said, "All right. I know you're loyal, but if Mr. Johnson hears that, he'd definitely give you a beating."

"Hehe…" Leroy scratched his head sheepishly before his expression turned serious. "Um…. Mr. Nicholson, have you caught the culprit who bombed this place?"

At his words, Kingsley retracted his smile as well. "I've already sent someone to look into it. Don't worry, there will be no other accidents here!"

He then patted Leroy on the shoulder again. "All right, I'm leaving. Call me if anything comes up."
