Then, she lowered her voice and asked, "Are you here for Advisor Shane? I heard that he didn't receive an invitation today. Are you here to find out information for him?"

Kingsley was surprised that she had come up with such a good excuse for him. He quickly nodded and replied, "Yeah, I'm here to check the situation for Advisor Shane."

She boldly patted his shoulder and exclaimed, "Since you consider me your sister, why didn't you just come directly to me if you wanted to attend the meeting? You don't have to allow Master Quintana's men to intimidate you."
