Clang!
In the VIP room, Baron sprang up from the couch upon seeing the fight coming to such an abrupt yet horrifying end, knocking over the bottles on the table in front of him. "T-That's impossible! Adrien was the winner of the golden belt! How could he be defeated so easily? This is not happening… Impossible…" he mumbled repeatedly with a look of utter disbelief painted over his face.
Next to him, Kingsley sat upright as well as he had never seen someone with such a shocking burst of power. The light in his eyes danced as joy rose in his chest. The problem that had troubled him for years would finally have an answer!
Back when he was still on Coliree Island, his godfather had taught him some boxing moves and told him that it was a set of ancient fighting techniques from a martial arts family. Therefore, he could only teach him some basic moves without the permission of the martial arts family.
Still, these basic moves were enough to change Kingsley's combat skills completely. He could feel a hidden energy in his body, and when he was sparring with someone, that hidden energy could easily break a grown man's bones.
And this was why he could easily take the blows from Calvin and the others. Plus, when he counterattacked, he could easily break their tendons and bones, which was the same as what he witnessed on the ring.
Alas, his problem was, his godfather hadn't told him anything about this hidden energy because he merely taught him some of the basics. So, he only knew to use this energy through sheer brute force, greatly restricting his combat skills.
Now when he saw that Bronte had the same hidden energy as him, his light brown eyes gleamed in excitement. Maybe this man can help me break through the bottleneck of my combat skills!
Just then, Baron raised his voice and instructed his underling, "Hurry and tell Craig to get ready. There's something weird about this guy. Get Craig to go for a fight!"
Kingsley shook away those thoughts as he asked, "Who's Craig?"
"He's the top fighter in my gang," Baron answered. "He has participated in more than twenty black matches and never lost in any of them. As long as he's competing, any of his opponents would be defeated regardless of who they were." Then, he leaned into the couch and sighed. "Luckily, I've gathered all my best fighters here for you, Boss Nicholson. Otherwise, it will be too late to get them here at the last minute."
Kingsley smirked. "Let's see if Craig is as strong as you make him out to be." Although he didn't make it clear, he had already given Craig the death sentence. If the hidden energy in Bronte was just as he imagined, Craig had no chance of victory against him at all.
Outside, the audience gawked as the men from the Black Boxer Gang scrambled to lift Adrien off the ring before they gradually snapped back to their senses.
"Damn, he won! That guy won!"
"Oh, my god! This is unbelievable!"
"He knocked out Adrien with one move. He's actually a pro!"
"I wonder if he'll continue to fight after this. If he continues, I'll bet all my assets on his win!"
Oscar raised his chin with pride when he heard that the praises from the audience had shifted and said arrogantly, "Yes, of course, he'll continue to fight! We're here to show the Black Boxer Gang who's the boss today! We won't stop until we defeat all of them." After his pretentious act, he bowed and said with a sycophantic smile playing on his lips, "Mr. Stewart, as expected of the heir of ancient martial arts, you guys are invincible!"
Zephyr curled his lips into a haughty smirk without saying a word. In his eyes, the fighters from the Black Boxer Gang were simply a bunch of beasts no different from barbarians, and it was no surprise to him that they were defeated by Bronte with just one move.
