"What's going on?" Cassius got up from the couch in an instant.
"What do you mean Cayden is missing? What happened?"
Cayden was everything to Cassius, so when he heard that his son was missing, he was terrified and his voice trembled.
"Wah wah wah! Cayden's homeroom teacher just called to tell me that they noticed Cayden missing from the classroom during the third period.
The homeroom teacher asked other students, and they all said that Cayden was taken away by a man in a suit," Shannon explained frantically as her face turned pale.
"Could it be the bodyguards from the Timothy Family who came to the store yesterday?"
Cassius was filled with rage as he pounded the wall repeatedly.
"It must be the Timothys! They kidnapped Cayden to force you to return home."
At this moment, Kingsley also looked grim.
He had just promised Shannon last night during dinner that he would protect and keep their family safe for the rest of their lives!
And today, he found himself in a predicament in which his words did not match his deeds.
Moreover, Cayden had fallen asleep in his arms the night before.
It was a warmth he had never felt before, being relied on by a child.
He couldn't imagine how devastated he would be if something happened to that adorable little boy.
Suddenly, Cassius' phone rang.
He answered the call and Horace's voice came through.
"Cassius White, I'm assuming you've heard the news already, right? Do as I say if you don't want your son to die!"
"It's you! What have you done to my son?" Cassius yelled, his eyes bloodshot from rage.
"I won't let you get away with this if anything happens to my son!"
