Swoosh!
The bodyguard's face was drained of color.
His legs seemed to be nailed to the ground, and he dared not take another step.
Kingsley taunted indifferently, "Why aren't you running? Huh?"
"No..."
The bodyguard's throat went dry, and his lips trembled for a while before he managed to utter a word.
While pointing the gun at his captive's head, Kingsley said coldly, "Since you're not going to run anymore, let's go upstairs together, shall we?"
The bodyguard didn't dare to resist and nodded obediently, his eyes staring straight ahead. Then, he went upstairs with Kingsley.
When they arrived at Room 201, Kingsley nodded toward the door, indicating for the bodyguard to knock.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
The bodyguard hesitantly raised his hand and knocked on the door.
At the same time, Kingsley stood behind him, pressing the gun against his waist.
Feeling the intimidation from behind, the bodyguard shivered uncontrollably.
Even his whole body trembled visibly.
After a while, they heard Horace's voice come from inside the room. "Who is it?"
Kingsley nudged his gun against the bodyguard's waist, and the bodyguard immediately trembled as he replied, "M-Mr. W-White… It's me."
Hearing the familiar voice, Horace immediately opened the door, making it creak.
Just as he opened the door, Kingsley swiftly struck the back of the bodyguard's neck with the back of his gun.
The bodyguard's eyes rolled back, and he passed out on the spot.
Thump!
Horace opened the door right when the bodyguard fell to the ground.
"You..."
Horace's pupils contracted, and a look of horror appeared on his face.
But before he could close the door, Kingsley had already aimed the dark barrel of the gun at him.
"How did you find us?"
