After hearing Francis' words, Levi's eyes flashed with resentment, but he gritted his teeth and shouted, "Dr. Nicholson, I’m sorry! I apologize! It was just a slip of the tongue! Please let me go!"
Kingsley glanced at Francis before flicking his wrist forcefully, shoving Levi five yards away.
Levi fell heavily backward, his head hitting the desk behind him with a bang.
The hard corner of the desk cut open his head. Almost instantly, blood started flowing.
Levi touched his head in pain, feeling a wet and sticky sensation in his palm.
"Blood... Blood!" He looked at the blood in his hand in horror, his face turning pale.
Francis' heart trembled with fear. He stomped his feet and shouted anxiously, "You little brat! Go to the hospital now!"
This time, Levi dared not retaliate. He pushed himself off the ground while holding his head, then hurriedly ran out of the office.
After leaving the office, Levi muttered with reddened eyes, "I finally know what you think! You only care about my older brother! You want him to inherit the family business, so you don't care even if I die!”
Levi was just a spoiled kid from a rich family. He never thought about competing with Hugo for the inheritance.
In fact, he had always hoped that his older brother could recover from his vegetative state. That way, his father wouldn't have high expectations of him and wouldn’t constantly hover over and lecture him.
However, today, when he was potentially faced with death, his father did not care about his severed finger or his injured head that was covered in blood. His father only thought about pleasing Kingsley so that Kingsley would save Hugo.
Levi was thoroughly disappointed.
A sinister look appeared in Levi's eyes. "Since you love your eldest son so much, I'll let you know what it feels like to lose a child!"
