The Supreme Man: Took Everything in Power novel Chapter 875

It was widely known that Andrew had a teacher from the Empire of the Setting Sun. However, Xaria firmly believed that Kingsley and Andrew had no private connection. Therefore, she had no concerns about Kingsley recognizing the person in front of him as Andrew's teacher.

To conceal her affiliation with the Empire of the Setting Sun, Xaria even provided Boris with a fake name that clearly showed that he hailed from Qustia. During their previous encounter with the Stein Family, Andrew had brought up Dr. Nicholson, the God of Medicine, to Boris. Unfortunately, Boris was in a state of confusion once he had regained consciousness. So, he had completely forgotten what Andrew and Francis had discussed. So, he pretended to nod and replied, "Yes, I'm Marcus Renner, a friend of Xaria's father."

Kingsley pretended to scrutinize Boris while wearing a puzzled expression on his face. "I notice that Mr. Renner appears to be in good health. He doesn't display even a sign that he is in ill health. However... his accent is a bit peculiar."

"Mr. Nicholson, there's a reason for that," Xaria interjected hastily. "He disappeared for a while and lost all of his memories! As for the accent… it probably changed during that time. I suspect it might be due to his head injury that resulted in amnesia and language difficulties. I hope that you, Dr. Nicholson, the God of Medicine, can use your medical expertise to cure him!"

Kingsley chuckled inwardly as he struggled to maintain a composed expression. Language difficulties? How could she say it with a straight face? Does she take me for a fool? Nevertheless, Kingsley intended to get closer to Stork, so he played along with this clear farce. "Dealing with head injuries is usually rather challenging. Honestly, there's no need to bother if his amnesia doesn't affect his daily life."

"Well..." Xaria glanced at Boris. There was a brief moment of hesitation before she continued, "There isn't any significant impact on his daily life, but I still hope you can cure him."

"I will give it a try." Kingsley nodded before turning to Boris. "Come, Mr. Renner. Let me examine your pulse."

As Boris extended his hand, he added, "I have lost about two or three months of memories. Sometimes, I experience unbearable headaches. Can you cure me of this ailment?"

Kingsley closed his eyes slightly, feigning a pulse examination as he remained silent. He was the one who had caused Boris' amnesia using a needle, so how could he possibly treat Boris?

After three minutes had passed, Kingsley opened his eyes and shook his head. "Mr. Renner, your condition is quite complex..."

"What do you mean? Can it really not be cured?" Boris inquired impatiently.

"I have conducted various CT scans and EEGs at the hospital, but nothing seems to work. It appears that there is truly no solution..." he said, sounding disheartened. "Well, I still remember everything that needs to be remembered. So, if it cannot be cured, then so be it."

However, Xaria furrowed her brows and questioned, "Mr. Nicholson, are you saying that there is truly no solution at all?"

A sly gleam flickered in Kingsley's eyes as he started tentatively, "If you are referring to a solution, it is not that there is none at all, but..."

"But what?" Xaria pressed, "We'll do anything to retrieve his lost memories!"

Kingsley revealed a mysterious smile. "It is possible to cure him, but it may take a considerable amount of time. I would need to come and perform acupuncture treatments for him every few days."

"That's not a problem!" Xaria immediately agreed on Boris' behalf. "It doesn't matter how long it takes. We have to retrieve his memories!"

"Miss... Heart!"

Boris was suddenly taken aback by her enthusiastic agreement. He was on the verge of blurting out the name "Kelly" in his haste! This villa served as a base for their spies! Even if they had thoroughly cleaned it for anything suspicious, there might still be traces left behind! Allowing an outsider to frequently enter and exit increased the risk of discovery. Boris shot her several glances, silently signaling, "Is it appropriate to let him come so often?"
