Meanwhile, Yulia was completely oblivious to everything. She was immersed in her date with Kingsley but also had some lingering concerns about Hillary.
With every few bites, she would steal glances at Kingsley and surreptitiously check her phone.
Her emotions swirled in a mix of happiness and unease.
Once she had polished off her plate, a full twenty minutes had slipped by.
"Are you full?" Kingsley flashed a warm smile her way. "If not, there's always seconds."
Yulia couldn't help but pout. "I'm absolutely full. Do you think I have an endless appetite? Two servings would be a stretch."
Kingsley took a deep breath and gathered his thoughts. "Since you're full, there's something I want to tell you."
"What is it?" Yulia reached for a napkin to dab at her mouth. "Why the peculiar expression? What do you want to tell me?"
"Actually, I am—"
Before he could finish his sentence, a sharp voice suddenly echoed from outside the door. "What's wrong with you, kid? Are you blind?!"
Hearing that voice, Yulia changed her expression and exclaimed, "Oh no, it's Hillary!"
Meanwhile, at the entrance of Leonardo's, an elderly man in his sixties was tugging a five or six-year-old boy and repeatedly bowing to Kendall as he apologized, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. The child didn't mean to bump into you. I sincerely apologize."
Kendall frowned as he disdainfully brushed off an imaginary speck of dust from his clothes. He looked rather displeased.
A moment ago, the little boy had just run past him, and his hand inadvertently brushed against Kendall's fine suit. This had thoroughly irritated him.
After all, the suit was a custom-made premium model from the Empire of Ioskain. How could an ordinary person dare to touch it?
